If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or engage with any service.

1. About This Practice

Become Your Change Ltd is a nurse-led private mental health and therapeutic practice, founded and run by Bronwyn Evans. Bronwyn is a Specialist Mental Health Nurse (RMN) registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council¹ and brings over a decade of NHS mental health experience to every piece of work. Her approach blends clinical rigour with genuine curiosity about the person in front of her.

All practice activity is carried out in line with the NMC Code of Professional Standards of Practice and Behaviour for Nurses, Midwives and Nursing Associates.¹ This means your care is professionally accountable at a regulatory level and subject to active NMC oversight throughout.

Bronwyn holds a qualification in clinical hypnotherapy and is actively expanding her integrative practice through training in counselling and CBT commencing September 2026, and through the University of Portsmouth V300 Independent and Supplementary Prescribing programme also commencing September 2026. All sessions are delivered within the scope of current qualification and competence. You will always be informed in advance if a developing modality forms part of your proposed approach, and you are free to decide whether to proceed.

2. Professional Disclaimer and Scope of Practice

Bronwyn Evans is a Specialist Mental Health Nurse and Integrative Therapist-in-Training. She is not a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or licensed psychologist. The services provided by Become Your Change Ltd are not a substitute for psychiatric care, medical treatment, or emergency intervention.

Nothing on this website or within any session constitutes a medical diagnosis, prescription, or clinical opinion beyond Bronwyn's current registered scope of practice. If you have concerns about your physical or mental health that fall outside the scope of this practice, you will always be encouraged to seek appropriate specialist support.

Where a presenting need falls outside Bronwyn's current competence or scope of practice, she is professionally obligated under the NMC Code¹ to discuss this openly and, where appropriate, to refer to a more suitable service. This is not a failure of service. It is a professional and ethical commitment to your safety.

Become Your Change Ltd offers services to adults aged 18 and over. Where a client under 18 is considered, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required in advance of any service being provided. Bronwyn reserves the right to request evidence of age or capacity before commencing work.

  • Block of six sessions: £720.00

A minimum of three participants is required for a group session to proceed. Where a session falls below this threshold, you will be offered an individual supervision slot or a full refund.

All group participants are bound by the same confidentiality obligations as the facilitator. Session content, including disclosures made by other participants, must not be shared outside the group. Participation in a group session constitutes acceptance of this obligation.

All sessions take place online via secure video link. You will receive a link ahead of each appointment. Sessions are scheduled with protected time either side to allow for accurate record-keeping and clinical reflection.

4.1 Payment

Sessions must be paid in full at the point of booking. A session is not confirmed until payment has been received. Where a partial payment arrangement has been explicitly agreed, the remaining balance must be received at least 24 hours before the session starts. If payment is not received in time, the session may be cancelled and treated as a Did Not Attend.

Payment details are provided through the booking system. Receipts are available on request.

4.2 Volunteer and Training Clients

On occasion, Bronwyn may see volunteer clients as part of assessed professional development. No fee applies to these sessions. This will always be discussed and agreed in advance, and the student context for the relevant modality will be made explicit. All other terms in this document apply in full.

5. Cancellation Policy

To make the most of the therapeutic space, please give at least 48 hours' notice by email to contact@becomeyourchange.com if you need to reschedule or cancel. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at Bronwyn's discretion. Genuine emergencies are always taken into account and clinical judgement will be applied rather than a rigid policy. Where appointments are repeatedly missed or rescheduled, it may be necessary to pause the work until regular attendance is possible.

5.1 If Bronwyn Needs to Cancel

If Bronwyn needs to cancel, you will be given as much notice as reasonably possible and offered the earliest available alternative appointment. If an alternative cannot be agreed, a full refund will be issued. In the event of extended unavailability, appropriate onward referrals will be supported and your records will remain secure.

5.2 Force Majeure

Become Your Change Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in delivering a service where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond Bronwyn's reasonable control. This includes illness, bereavement, technical failure, natural disaster, pandemic, or any other event that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented. In such circumstances, Become Your Change Ltd will communicate promptly, offer alternatives where possible, and ensure appropriate onward referrals are in place.

6. Contact Between Sessions and Crisis Support

6.1 Getting in Touch

7. Safeguarding and Limits of Confidentiality

Everything you share with Bronwyn is held with care, discretion, and respect. As a registered healthcare practitioner, she has professional and legal duties that extend beyond the therapeutic relationship. Safeguarding practice is guided by the Care Act 2014,⁷ the Children Act 1989 and 2004,⁸ and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.⁹

There are circumstances where Bronwyn is required by law or professional obligation to act on information, which may include breaking confidentiality. These are:

  • You are at immediate risk of seriously harming yourself

  • Someone else is at immediate risk of serious harm

  • A child or vulnerable adult is at risk of abuse or neglect

  • A serious crime has been disclosed or is about to be committed

  • There are concerns about terrorism or serious threats to public safety

  • There is reason to suspect money laundering or the proceeds of criminal conduct, in line with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002¹⁶

  • Disclosure is required by law or court order

Wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so, Bronwyn will explain her concerns, discuss what may need to be shared, and involve you in that decision. Any disclosure will be limited to the minimum necessary information.

7.1 Clinical Supervision

Bronwyn receives regular clinical supervision in line with the NMC Code¹ and the ethical frameworks of her professional memberships. Some anonymised details from your work together may be discussed in this context. Your identity will not be disclosed, and supervisors are bound by the same confidentiality standards.

7.2 Healthcare Information Sharing

With your explicit consent, Bronwyn may communicate with your GP or other healthcare professionals, liaise with treating clinicians, or provide reports for insurance or occupational health purposes. This will always be discussed with you first and limited to the minimum necessary information.

8. Professional Conduct and Our Shared Responsibility

Good therapeutic work is built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. This section sets out what you can expect from Bronwyn, and what she asks from you in return.

8.1 What You Can Expect from Bronwyn

  • A safe, non-judgmental, and neurodivergence-affirming therapeutic space

  • Collaborative, evidence-informed work shaped around your goals

  • Honesty about the limits of her scope of practice, with referral where appropriate

  • Consistent professional boundaries throughout your work together

  • Accurate, secure, and confidential clinical records

  • Regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development

  • Punctuality, adequate notice of any changes, and genuine responsiveness to your feedback

  • Reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2010²²

8.2 What Bronwyn Asks from You

  • Attend sessions on time and engage as openly and honestly as you are able

  • Keep Bronwyn informed of changes to your medical status, medications, or mental health

  • Inform your GP that you are receiving therapeutic support

  • Take responsibility for your own wellbeing and the decisions you make

  • Be transparent about any other therapies or treatments you are currently receiving

  • Give appropriate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule

  • Attend sessions free from the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances. Attending under the influence may result in the session being ended and a cancellation charge applied

  • Tell Bronwyn about any accessibility, sensory, or communication needs so she can support you well

8.3 Respectful Conduct

A safe and respectful environment is essential for this work to be effective. The same standard of professional conduct applies across all contact with Become Your Change Ltd, including any interaction on social media or other digital platforms.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes verbal abuse, harassment, coercive behaviour, repeated boundary violations, or any behaviour that causes Bronwyn to feel unsafe. If this occurs it will be addressed clearly and professionally, the session may be ended immediately, and the therapeutic relationship may be terminated without further notice. Appropriate signposting to alternative services will be provided where possible.

9. Social Media and Public Engagement

Become Your Change Ltd maintains a professional presence on social media. Content shared publicly is general and psychoeducational in nature. It does not constitute clinical advice and does not create a therapeutic relationship.

Bronwyn engages with public content professionally and at her own discretion. Responses to comments and messages are not guaranteed and are not a substitute for clinical contact. Clinical matters are not discussed in public forums, regardless of how a question is framed.

The zero-tolerance approach to abusive or harmful conduct described in Section 8.3 applies equally across all online and social media interactions. Current clients are asked to use email for all practice-related communication rather than contacting Bronwyn through personal social media channels.

10. Testimonials and Anonymised Case Material

Become Your Change Ltd may, from time to time, use anonymised testimonials or case examples for professional development, training, or marketing purposes. No identifying information will ever be used without your explicit written consent.

Where testimonials are shared publicly, they are used with permission and identifying details are removed or changed. If you provide feedback that Become Your Change Ltd would like to use publicly, you will always be asked separately for your written consent before it appears anywhere.

Anonymised case material used in professional training or supervision is handled in accordance with the confidentiality standards set out in Section 7.

11. Ending Our Work Together

You are free to end the therapeutic relationship at any time. Where possible, a final session to reflect on the work covered and ensure appropriate support is in place is something Bronwyn would always welcome. This is your choice and there will be no pressure to continue.

If Bronwyn feels she is no longer the right person to support you, or that the work is not progressing in a helpful direction, she will be honest about that. Alternatives will be explored together, with appropriate signposting or onward referrals. A brief clinical summary can be arranged to support continuity of care where needed.

Where the therapeutic relationship reaches a point at which it is no longer workable, sessions will end respectfully and professionally. Your clinical records will be securely retained and remain available to support future care.

12. Complaints

If something does not feel right, please say so. Whether it is about the sessions, the way the work is progressing, or anything else, Bronwyn wants to hear it. She will always respond with care and without defensiveness, and takes feedback seriously as part of how she grows and develops.

If you would prefer to raise a concern formally, or if things cannot be resolved directly, you can escalate to:

  • Bronwyn's clinical supervisor  |  contact details available on request

  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC): www.nmc.org.uk¹

  • Royal College of Nursing (RCN)²

  • National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)³

  • National Hypnotherapy Society (NHypS)⁴

  • United Coaching Alliance (UCA)⁵

Speaking up will never affect the therapeutic relationship. More often than not, it is some of the most important work that gets done.
