Making Change Happen…
Real transformation begins with a single, courageous choice. Not a perfect one. Not a certain one. Simply the choice to show up.
At Become Your Change, I believe that meaningful and lasting change doesn't come from being taken apart and put back together differently. It comes from reconnecting with what already exists within you. Your strengths. Your story. Your capacity to grow. And building from there.
My approach is grounded in choice, empowerment, and acceptance. I hold a strong belief that you are not a collection of symptoms or problems to be solved, but a whole person, shaped by your experiences, your relationships, and the context of your life. The work we do together honours that entirely.
This means working at your pace, in your way, without pressure or predetermined timelines. I'll walk alongside you as you begin to understand your patterns, rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, and take steps, however small, toward becoming your own agent of change.
When you're ready to take that first step, a free 15-minute consultation is available. A calm, no-obligation conversation to explore whether we feel like the right fit for each other.
Integrated Approaches
Every person's journey is unique, and so is the support I offer.
At the heart of this work is my background as a Specialist Mental Health Nurse. Bringing clinical depth, whole-person thinking, and a breadth of experience that shapes every aspect of how I work. Alongside that, a therapeutic dimension informed by ongoing specialist training continues to expand the tools and approaches available to us.
Depending on your needs and goals, I may draw from a range of frameworks including CBT and DBT-informed skills development, motivational interviewing, emotion-focused approaches, hypnotherapy, and coaching. These are never applied rigidly or prescriptively. They are offered collaboratively, always tailored and agreed upon together, so that the work remains genuinely yours.
You might be navigating anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, grief, late-identified neurodivergence, life transitions, or simply a persistent sense that something needs to shift. Wherever you are, I'm here to hold a space that is safe, compassionate, and free of judgement.
I don't just sit with you in your struggles.
I walk beside you in your becoming.

FAQ's
Working together
Beginning a change journey is a personal decision, and one that takes courage. My aim is to make the process feel as simple, respectful, and empowering as possible from the very first step.
Here are some of the questions people often ask when considering working together. If you're wondering about something not covered here, I'd love to hear from you.

Getting started
Where should I start? You're welcome to begin with a free 15-minute consultation. This is a space for us to meet, ask questions, and explore whether we feel like a good fit. There's no pressure to commit. Just a calm, confidential conversation.
What happens in the free consultation? The 15-minute consultation is an informal conversation, a chance for us to meet, for you to ask any questions you have, and for both of us to get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit. There's no assessment, no pressure, and no obligation. You're welcome to come as you are, with as much or as little prepared as feels comfortable. If we decide to move forward, we'll talk through next steps together at the end of the call.
How do I know if now is the right time to reach out? There's rarely a perfect moment. If you've found yourself here, reading this, that's often enough of a signal. You don't need to be in crisis, have a diagnosis, or know exactly what you want from this work. Curiosity and a quiet sense that something needs to shift are more than enough to begin. The free consultation exists precisely for moments like this, a low-pressure space to explore whether this feels right, without any commitment to go further.
What is nurse-led therapeutic support, and how is it different? Nurse-led therapeutic support means that the clinical foundations of specialist mental health nursing, whole-person assessment, safeguarding awareness, an understanding of medication and physical health, and experience across complex care settings, are present in every piece of work I do, alongside a therapeutic dimension informed by ongoing specialist training. In practice, this means you're working with someone who can hold both your inner world and the wider context of your life simultaneously. It's not nursing on one side and therapy on the other. It's an integrated approach that takes the whole of you seriously.
Sessions and structure
What does a session look like? For those who find a full 50-minute session difficult, we can also explore whether focused 25-minute sessions might be a better fit.
How often do I need to come? That's entirely up to you. Some people find regular sessions helpful, while others check in occasionally. You're welcome to adapt the rhythm of our work together to meet your changing needs over time.
Can I change the frequency of sessions over time? Yes. You can increase, decrease, or pause sessions depending on what you need. Our work together is flexible and designed to move with you.
Can I pause or stop at any time? Absolutely. You're not locked into anything, and it's always okay to pause or bring our work to a close. I'm here to support you in making whatever choice feels right for you. However, if we have agreed to a specific programme of work together, any decision to pause will include a review of your progress and a conversation about next steps before we continue.
Do you offer face-to-face sessions or just online? At present, all sessions are offered via secure video call or telephone. If in-person options become available in future, this page will be updated.
Fees and practicalities
How much do sessions cost? A 30-minute session is £65, and a 60-minute session is £130. A block of six 60-minute sessions is available at £720, which offers a small saving if you'd like to commit to a period of regular work together. I'm always happy to talk through what might feel most sustainable for you.
Do you offer concession rates or sliding scale pricing? I want this work to be as accessible as possible. If affordability is a concern, please reach out. I may have limited concession spaces available, or I can signpost you toward lower-cost options where I can.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? Life happens. I simply ask for 48 hours' notice, via email, if you need to cancel or move a session. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed sessions, will be charged in full, as that time has been set aside just for you. This helps keep the practice sustainable and honours the commitment we're making together. My email is - contact@becomeyourchange.com
Who I work with
Do you work with neurodivergent clients? Yes, and it's an area I'm particularly passionate about. A significant part of my work is with adults who have received a late ADHD or autism diagnosis, or who are in the process of seeking one. I have extensive experience in neurodevelopmental assessment and a deep understanding of what it means to navigate the world as a neurodivergent person, both professionally and personally. If this is your experience, you'll find a space here that genuinely understands it.
I've recently received an ADHD or autism diagnosis. Can you help me make sense of it? Absolutely. A diagnosis can bring enormous relief, but it can also raise a lot of questions about identity, history, and what comes next. Post-diagnosis support is something I offer specifically, a space to process what the diagnosis means for you, understand your neurodivergent profile, and begin building a life that works with how your mind actually works rather than against it.
Do you work with people who already have a diagnosis or are under NHS care? Yes. I often work alongside existing diagnoses or NHS care pathways, such as GP plans, community mental health teams, or ADHD and autism assessments. The support here can complement other care you're already receiving.
Do you work with healthcare professionals? Yes. Alongside my private client work, I offer a dedicated professionals pathway for those working in health and care settings. This includes clinical supervision, NMC revalidation support, peer supervision, and professional coaching. If you're a healthcare professional looking for peer-level support, please visit the Professionals Portal for more information.
Do you work with children or young people? No. My work is exclusively with adults aged 18 and over. If you're looking for support for a child or young person, I'm happy to signpost you toward appropriate services.
Are there situations where you wouldn't be the right fit? Yes, and I think it's important to be honest about this. I work best with adults who are broadly stable and able to engage reflectively, even if things feel very difficult right now. There are some situations where a different service would serve you better. For example, if you are currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis, require intensive or inpatient support, or need more frequent clinical contact than I can provide. If I don't feel I'm the right fit for what you need, I'll always say so clearly and help you find something more suitable. Your safety and wellbeing come first.
Confidentiality and records
Is everything we talk about confidential? Yes, confidentiality is at the heart of our work. Session notes are stored securely and electronically, in line with current data protection legislation. The only exceptions are rare legal or safety-related circumstances, such as serious risk of harm to yourself or others. I will explain this fully in our first session, and you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions before we begin.
Do you take notes during sessions? Yes. Brief session notes are kept securely and electronically following each session, in line with data protection legislation and professional record-keeping standards. I use an encrypted clinical records system, and all data is handled in accordance with GDPR. I also use an AI-assisted transcription tool during some sessions to support accurate note-keeping. This is always disclosed in advance, and your consent will be sought before it is used. If you have any questions or concerns about how your information is stored or used, please don't hesitate to ask, transparency around this matters to me.
If things feel difficult
What if I feel unsure or stuck? It's completely okay to feel unsure. This work isn't always linear, and sometimes it brings up difficult feelings. You're always welcome to share if something doesn't feel right. We can adapt, slow down, or simply explore what's going on together.
